Abdallah Karkout is an experienced experimental "artist", who has been practicing and running studio workshops and university courses, and lecturing for many years.
The samples presented in these two projects, represent a visual outcome of an experience that has been taking shape through years of interest in culture and education.
By asserting my lack of faith in the conventional art-exhibiting spaces, and the failure of digital galleries in conveying the sensory and physical qualities of traditional art, the act of displaying these samples shouldn't be considered by any means a participation in the promoting or marketing of any ‘art product’. Deliberately, the images of the artworks stand as an overview of a part of a broader ‘cultural project’.
